Glassons have revealed this year’s Breast Cancer Research Trust T-shirt collection with t–shirt designs by Karen Walker, Trelise Cooper, Zambesi, Cybéle, Stolen Girlfriends Club and Lonely Hearts. This year’s campaign theme -BECOME A SUPERHERO – supports the premise that if you buy a t-shirt you can be likened to a superhero, as money raised from t-shirt sales helps to save lives from breast cancer. The t-shirts are just $29.99 with $10 from each sale going to the Breast Cancer Research Trust. This is the eighth year Glassons has supported Breast Cancer Research Trust and, to date, has raised an impressive $3.5 million for the Trust.  Funds raised are allocated to only the most outstanding and visionary research and researchers in New Zealand to ensure the Trust achieves its goal of finding a cure by 2018.  New Zealand has one of the world’s highest rates of incidence and death from breast cancer, with one in eight New Zealand women diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime and 660 (that’s nearly two per day) losing their life to the disease every year.
