The new issue of PILOT includes a 24-page special feature about the past, present & future of the human race. It starts with a warning:
In December 2012 the world will be visited by a series of cataclysmic or transformative events. Many believe this date marks the end of the world – caused by a fiery apocalypse, planetary collision, gravitational reversal, global war or series of environmental disasters. Others believe that 2012 marks a transformational moment in the history of creation that will raise mankind’s consciousness to a new level. These dual predictions are based on the end-date of the ancient Mayan Mesoamerican Long Count calendar:
December 21, 2012.
This is just the beginning of the feature which goes on to cover a lot of ground over the course of 24 pages. Ultimately it is an optimistic look at what humanity must embrace to ensure a bright future for all. We had a lot of fun putting this feature together and we’re very proud of the result.
