If you’re a design geek or at least aspire to becoming a design geek one day, DINZ (Designers Institute New Zealand) are hosting an evening of talks next week on Collaborative Design Projects. The intention of the event is to show design collaboration on projects, and give different design disciplines some insight into the way other disciplines work. It’s also a good networking opportunity.
Myself and Arch MacDonnell of Inhouse Design are giving one of 4 presentations. Arch heads the design team that put Pilot together. Magazine publishing is by nature a collaborative process, and the most important part of that process is the collaboration between editorial and design. Arch and I will be discussing the collaborative process that we go through to put Pilot together and Arch being the design geek – we’ll have a delicious slide show to help illustrate the process.
The event is Tuesday 19th May, 6pm – 8.30pm at Hotel De Brett, High Street, Auckland
