Very strong show by Marc Jacobs with his Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2010 show at Paris Fashion Week. The models wore oversized Afro wigs finished with satin bows. The fashion deftly mixed ethnic references with a futuristic sci-fi feel in a collection that Jacobs described as “street, with a look embracing the hippie-cyber, tribal-punk world.” Louis Vuitton showed the collection live through their Facebook page, a first for any of the major luxury fashion brands.
